What is Chambray

Chambray is very similar in appearance to Denim; the white thread in width gives the same informal look. However, denim is a twill fabric. The Chambray weaving technique is dobby less complex than Denim, allowing Chambray to be woven more finely. This results in a fine parcale, tighter fabric. That's why Chambray is lighter, without sacrificing strength. It is very durable and therefore lasts a long time. Extremely suitable for duvet cover sets. A classic chambray fabric consists of 100% cotton. The fabric remains best when washed at a maximum of 40 degrees.
